Connect the Spots is an online-based tutoring company dedicated to helping students meet their goals either in the classroom or at a testing center. We rely on experienced tutors that take a more holistic approach to learning, so that students can perform at their best whenever they need to. We have access to cutting edge therapeutic tools called Brainspotting that can be used to help with test anxiety if need be. We believe that not enough emphasis is placed on the mental and emotional side of test-taking, and we feel honored to be support as you work toward your goals.
What makes us different?
Flexibility: We offer tutoring services for ages 10+ and can help with nearly any subject. We offer tutoring services for any middle school or high school standardized testing with a proven track record. We use individualized tutoring techniques to improve test scores and subject understanding.
Experience: We have been working with hundreds of students in a variety of different learning circumstances for around 8 years now. We’ve worked with students at nearly every starting point and worked tirelessly to get them to their end goals. This effort shows in our results where we boast on average of around 5 points of growth on the ACT or around 50% of available points!
Holistic Approach: Our tutors are trained to help students cope with anxieties that come with test-taking and learning. In cases where more help is needed, we have access to a licensed mental health professional that can use a cutting edge therapeutic tool called Brainspotting to help with students with performance or test anxiety.
